Where are you based?

I'm based in South East Melbourne. Happy to travel to your home or to an outdoor location. I am available within around 1.5 hours travel for a shoot. There are additional travel fees outside of 30 km.

We've got a date , what's next?

Once we’ve agreed upon a date and it’s confirmed to be available I will send you a booking email, it includes a contract and an invoice. Once you have read and signed the contract and paid the $100 deposit your session is booked! Dates/prices cannot be held without the deposit.

What time do you shoot outdoors?

I typically shoot at sunset, the golden hour is best time for light! This will depend on the time of year. Soft and magical is what we go for. All outdoor sessions are held just prior to sunset, with a start time of 3-4:30pm during the cooler months or 6-7:30pm during daylight savings. If you have a specific request please feel free to email me to discuss.

Should we bring anything?

If you have any props in mind; a blanket or a change of clothes, please do so. You’re welcome to let me know prior too. For babies and children; think about bringing some neutral toy, teether, snacks, anything that may bring a sense of comfort for them but you’re happy to end up in images. If you want to bring something to encourage children to take part I recommend mini marshmallows, they’re clean, quick to eat and not brightly coloured. Chocolate seems like a good idea until its all around their mouths and clothes.

What shall we wear?

Don’t worry! You’ll receive a style guide once you are booked in which covers what to wear, bring and what to expect. I do have a small client wardrobe of dresses for people who would like to wear one. It’s accessible once you're booked in via the The Client Portal.

Me/My Partner are awkward!

9/10 of my clients claim to be awkward. Don’t worry, I know, it’s a bit of anticipation mixed with nerves. I do my best to make you feel comfortable with me firstly. Secondly I’m very observant of things that reflect comfort and ease in images. I’ll guide you if you feel a bit stiff but most of the time I receive a message after saying I made you feel at ease; that’s the goal! You’ll be focussing on each other and I’ll be focussed on capturing that.

What if my kids don’t play?

Do kids ever really play ball? Often they’re going to react to their situation. I worked with 2-4 year olds for 7 years, and older children within that time too. So I want to reassure you; I will not be put out by your little ones excitement, tears, resilience! We allow plenty of time to make sure tears can be soothed, little brains can be compromised with and joyful moments can take place.

What if it rains?

I mean, in Melbourne? We know there is often a chance of rain. If you think you can enjoy the adventure and make fun with it, lets go, I will shoot in any weather. However with little ones or if you don’t want to get wet we can reschedule to the nearest possible date. A light shower can make for an epic shoot and storms/clouds most certainly are my favourite but if it's torrential, hailing or lightning I’ll be in contact with you.

The shoot is over, what now?

After your shoot I will send a “preview” of a handful of images from your shoot via a private online gallery, this is the gallery all your images will be in once they’re finished. I aim to send this within 48hrs but please allow up to a week especially during busy seasons. Your full gallery will be ready within a month of your shoot.

O 7

How will I receive my photos?

I aim to complete your gallery as quickly as possible. Most galleries turn around time is 3 to 4 weeks. You will get an email to an online gallery to select and download your favourite photos. From there you can also share to your socials. If, however you need the gallery sooner than 3 weeks, please get in touch before the session date.

O 8

Can I download my images?

You have unlimited downloads and can share the gallery with friends and family to download too. The gallery will be available for 4 weeks so please download and save all your images somewhere safe. You can print your own, or you can print via the shop attached to the gallery itself. If you do choose to print yourself please use a professional printing lab.

O 9

Can I post the images online?

Of course you can! There is an opt in or out of sharing in your contract which gives me permission to share your images online on my website or social medias. Please read this carefully, however when it comes to you; the images are yours. You’re welcome to share them. You’re also welcome to tag me if you would like to.
